Communication Students Hold Memorable Farewell, Sharing Wisdom for Personal and Academic Success

The Bunda Communication and Journalism Students Affairs (BCOJSA) on Sunday hosted a vibrant farewell ceremony for final-year Communication and Journalism students outside Chilowa Cafeteria, LUANAR Bunda Campus. Organized and facilitated by the BCOJSA executives, including President Benjamin Tholiwa and Vice President Etta Chikuse, the event brought together students from first to fourth year to celebrate, reflect, and share academic insights as the finalists prepare to leave campus ahead of their expected graduation in May next year.

As both a class representative and finalist, I joined fellow final-year students in sharing advice aimed at strengthening academic excellence and personal growth. In my remarks, I emphasized the importance of working smart rather than just working hard and encouraged students to utilize academic and social clubs as platforms for growth and development.

Other speakers, including 220 cohort representative Butwah Mwakalagho and finalist Andreck Lesford, offered guidance on balancing academics with campus life and preparing for job opportunities beyond university.

The event blended inspiration with celebration, featuring a meal, music, and dancing. Memories were captured through photos taken by MWAFFS Media CEO, Praise Bwanali, a BCOJ finalist, closing the day with moments the students will carry long after leaving Bunda Campus.
